Brigada Eskwela in Porac

 

MediCard Foundation is very happy and privileged to be part of the Department of Education’s “BRIGADA ESKWELA” program through Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) last May 18, 2013 at Barangay Planas in Porac, Pampanga.  150 Aeta grade school pupils of Katutubo Village Elementary School benefitted from this joint project attended by 128 employee-volunteers from 10 sponsor companies.  MFI, represented by Volts Victoria, Bryan Vergara, Joy Sitjar and Manny Elip, handed out bags of school supplies and toiletries to deserving children.

 
MediCaravan in Bocaue, Bulacan

MediCard Foundation conducted a Medical Mission and Deworming of Children for the newly relocated families of Ulingan, Tondo (Smokey Mountain) in Barangay Batia, Bocaue, Bulacan last May 17, 2013 in partnership with Project Pearls represented by its founder Ms. Melissa Villa and her brother Mr. Juan Villa.  Thank you very much to the Medical Team and to all who supported and made this outreach possible.

 
“OPLAN TULI @ Towerville”

MediCard Foundation, led by president Mr. Luis Montoya, conducted its first “OPLAN TULI” project last April 19, 2013 at Towerville in the City of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.  Towerville is an adopted community of Food for the Hungry Philippines (FHP) which is represented by Mr. Clark Brian Gonzales (Health & Nutrition Specialist), Ms. Vicky Dineros (Local Sponsorship Coordinator), Ms. Mary Rose Papel (Community Coordinator) and Ms. Blessing Octobre (Community Staff).  A total of 60 kids were given free circumcision and prescribed medicines during the day.  Big thanks to the Medical Team and to all who supported this project.


 
"Mga Mumunting Bitbit Ngayong Tag-init"

A gift-giving activity as warm as the summer, MediCard Foundation and Church Of The King (COTK) from Lake Charles, Louisiana, USA put smiles on the faces of 100 streetchildren endorsed by Kanlungan sa Er-Ma Ministry last April 5, 2013 through an outreach dubbed as “Mga Mumunting Bitbit Ngayong Tag-init (Cute Li’l Gifts This Summer).  Kanlungan was headed by executive director Ms. Consuelo Balbero and program coordinator Ms. Joey Samaniego while COTK was represented by Pastor Joshua Bigwood, Jordan Sellers, Shaun Shuler, Genette Asuncion-Shuler, Larnie Sula, and Mr. & Mrs. Gene Asuncion.  The kids showed their talents, rendered group presentations and also enjoyed the fun games.
