MFI RECEIVED AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS FROM RED CROSS

 

DIPLOMA OF SERVICE AWARD. MediCard Foundation received an award from the Philippine Red Cross during their Blood Donors' Recognition Day last July 20, 2017 at the Red Cross Headquarters in EDSA, Mandaluyong City. Senator Richard Gordon and DOH Secretary Dr. Paulyn Jean Ubial led the awarding ceremonies. With more than 400 in attendance, the event was hosted by actress-comedienne Giselle Sanchez.

MediCard Foundation gratefully shares this award with all blood donors thru MFI.

 

THREE AWARDS. MediCard Foundation received three awards from the Philippine Red Cross during their Partners-in-Service Recognition last August 30, 2017 at the Manila Polo Club in Forbes Park, Makati City, namely: Plaque of Recognition for being a Pearl Corporate Member, Plaque of Recognition for Blood Services: Pearl Awardee, and Certificate of Recognition as Blood Services Retained Partner.

MFI renewed its commitment and pledges as an active corporate member and partner-supporter of Red Cross-Makati's Mass Blood Donation program and Million Volunteer Run.

 
RUN FOR CLEAN ENERGY

 

As part of its Works Of Wellness (WOW) Programs, MediCard Foundation supported PTT's 1st "Run for Clean Energy" last July 16, 2017 at the CCP Complex by providing the First Aid Station, by distributing hand sanitizers and by registering 180 participants to the successful event. This advocacy run was organized by Subterranean Ideas. Congratulations to all runners and big thanks to the organizers and sponsors!

 
MediCaravan at Cavinti, Laguna (830 patients)

MediCard Foundation conducted a Medical, Optical and Dental Mission in Cavinti, Laguna together with the Kiwanis Club of Laguna Sparkling Rubies and the Philippine Army 202 Infantry Brigade last June 30, 2017. A total of 830 patients were served: 550 Medical, 245 optical and 35 Dental. Big thanks to the medical Team, to all volunteers, to Mayor Milbert Oliveros, to Vice Mayor Anita Baeyes, to Municipal Administrator Rick Jayson Tatlonghari, to the Kiwanis Group led by Club President Norma Lobaton and to all who have contributed to ensure the success of the joint outreach.

 
TULONG GULONG 21

“Tulong Gulong” is MediCard Foundation’s quarterly donation of wheelchairs and other assistive devices to deserving indigent beneficiaries. On its 21st gift-giving activity last June 16, 2017, MFI personally handed over 10 wheelchairs, 2 pairs of crutches, 2 canes with seat and 1 walker to 15 individuals endorsed by the Citizens Crime Watch (CCW) and the DSWD Office of Hagonoy, Bulacan from nine (9) different barangays. Turnover was held inside the Parish Church of Barangay San Roque. MFI also donated boxes of pediatric medicines during the same day medical, dental and optical mission organized by CCW which is headed by its Hagonoy Chapter Chairman Jeune Ramirez together with DSWD Officer Angelina dela Cruz.
